Ingredients:
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup pistachios
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup dried cranberries
2Tbsp rice malt syrup
11/2 tsp rose water
Rolling: Desiccated coconut or cacao powder.
Method:
1. Put all nuts in food processor and blend until fine.
2. Add coconut and oats and blend again.
3. Add cranberries, rice malt syrup and rose water. Process until mixture starts to stick together.
4. Roll into balls, then roll in chosen coating (coconut or cacao).
Tips and hints:
- Dried cranberries without added sugar can be hard to find, so I used the brand 'Ocean Spray' with 50% less sugar. These can be found at Coles. (Photo below)
- The mixture may be a little oily due to the almonds and walnuts combining together.
- Roll all balls first then coat them to make the process easier and avoid getting your hands too messy.
- All bliss balls can be kept in a container in the fridge, or if you would like them to last longer put them in the freezer!
