Clean Chocolate Truffles!
Recipe:
125g walnuts
125g almonds
2 Tbsp cacao powder (or can use PURE cocoa powder)
¼ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
10 fresh pitted dates
1 tsp vanilla extract or coconut nectar
And desiccated coconut for rolling.

Method:
1. Place walnuts and almonds in food
processor, process until ground.
2. Add cacao, cinnamon and salt, mix
until combined.
3. Add pitted dates and vanilla extract or coconut nectar,
test to see if mixture starts to come together (if it doesn’t, add a little
water then process again).
4. Roll in small bite-size balls then
roll in coconut or cacao powder
5. Store in fridge.
* Tip: To
pump up your protein intake add 2 Tbsp of protein powder to the mixture, either
chocolate or vanilla flavour would work nicely. I Have used a Raw vanilla protein in mine :)
